NT> Each time the operator logs the application to the TCP/IP network, the following synchronizations are automatically performed:
Œ The hand held computer's clock is synchronized to the host PC.
The menu and screen definition files for the applications on the hand held computer are checked against those held on the RF-TP™ Host, and the latest versions downloaded as necessary.
Ž The RF-TP™ Client application, scanner and other device drivers are checked against those held on the RF-TP™ Host, and the latest versions downloaded as necessary. If any are downloaded, then the hand held computer is automatically “warm booted” to restart the application with the latest device drivers and application software.
Application specific lookup files are checked against those held on the RF-TP™ Host and the latest versions downloaded as necessary,

Messaging

Messages can be broadcast to some or all connected hand held computers.

System Monitor

The system monitor, running on the Windows 95/98/ME/NT/XP host, shows the status of all connected hand held computers, displays recent TCP/IP transactions, and summarizes system performance and activity. A record of all TCP/IP transactions can be written to a log file for error tracing.
